What Steps Should be Taken in Case of Damage



In case of damage, you can easily manage this process by taking the following steps. You can call our Call Center for all questions and more information at 0850 460 62 62.

1. Call our Call Center and report the damage.


In case of damage, call our Call Center at 0850 460 62 62 and report the damage. Before reporting the damage, you should prepare the necessary information to facilitate the process.

Write down the file number assigned to you at the time of reporting the damage. You can easily follow all operations related to the claim process by using your file number.

2. Prepare the necessary documents.


After reporting the damage, prepare all necessary documents for your damage file.

3. Follow the status of your damage file.

Necessary Documents

1. Casco Insurance Damage

a) Hitting-Collision

  • Traffic collision report with financial damage, accident minutes or declaration
  • Alcohol Report
  • Registration Photocopy
  • Driving License Photocopy
  • Damage photos of the vehicle taken at the scene
  • IBAN

Additional requirements for the vehicles to be scrapped:

  • Notarized sales power of attorney
  • Original registration
  • Vehicle keys
  • Spare keys

b) Vehicle Theft

  • Police station application report
  • Certified copy of loss of the vehicle issued by the Vehicle Theft Office (Requested after 30 days of theft of the vehicle.)
  • Original registration with theft seal (if this seal cannot be obtained, a certificate of theft must be obtained from the relevant office)
  • Certificate of discharge from tax office
  • Certified copy of the de-registration letter from the Finance Office (for vehicles with plate registration number starting with 34, this letter could be obtained from Ümraniye Road Vehicles Tax Office)
  • All keys of the vehicle (original and spare keys)
  • Release of any liens, attachments, debts etc. on the vehicle
  • IBAN number of the license holder
  • Original special power of attorney granted to the authorized officers of our Company for vehicle thefts
  • If there is OGS or HGS registered for the vehicle, a document of cancellation signed by the relevant bank or authority; if it is not registered, a declaration of lack of registration.
  • Traffic documents of the vehicle (tax papers, vehicle stamps, invoice etc.)
For the damages in excess of 20.000 TRY, the following information and documents are additionally requested in the payment process:

For Individuals:

  • ID card/driving license/bar association ID card with Turkish Identification Number
  • Originally-signed address information

For Legal Entities:

  • Tax chart
  • Signature circular
  • Trade registration journal
  • Activity certificate
  • ID Card photocopy of the person authorized to sign.

2. Traffic Damage

a) In case of Financial Damage

  • Certified copy of the traffic collision report (accident minutes) with financial damage or Tramer Accident Report (KTT)
  • Bank account information of the beneficiary (IBAN)

Other information and documents that might be requested, if necessary:

  • Registration Photocopy of the damaged vehicle
  • Official document indicating beneficiary status for non-vehicle financial damages
  • Damage photos
  • Turkish ID Number / tax chart of the victim
  • If the damage claim is followed by proxy; power of attorney copy, IBAN number and Turkish ID Number of the proxy
  • If the plate registration number is not indicated in the policy; Registration Photocopy of the insured vehicle.

b) For Loss of Value Claims

If the traffic financial damage file has been opened by us:

  • Loss of value claim declaration

If the traffic financial damage file has not been opened by us:

  • Certified copy of the traffic collision report (accident minutes) with financial damage or Tramer Accident Report (KTT)
  • Bank account information of the beneficiary (IBAN)

Other information and documents that might be requested, if necessary:

  • Loss of value claim declaration
  • Damage Survey Report copy (if no survey has been conducted, then a copy of repair invoice)
  • Registration Photocopy of the damaged vehicle
  • Damage photos
  • Turkish ID Number / tax chart of the victim
  • If the damage claim is followed by proxy; power of attorney copy, IBAN number and Turkish ID Number of the proxy
  • If the plate registration number is not indicated in the policy; Registration Photocopy of the insured vehicle.

c) For Permanent Disability and Death Indemnity Claims

  • A medical board report issued in accordance with the Regulation on Disability Criteria, Classification and Medical Board Reports to be Granted to the Disabled Individuals as published in the Official Journal on 30/3/2013 under number 28603
  • Turkish Identification Number for beneficiary individuals
  • Accident report
  • Wage document of the victim for the last 3 months
  • Bank account details of the beneficiary

  • Letter of claim
  • Registration photocopies of the involved vehicles
  • Alcohol reports and driving license photocopies of the drivers, if any
  • Certificate of identity registration copy
  • Judicial report and hospital discharge reports indicating the initial examination findings as issued by the health institution that the disabled person had first applied immediately after the accident

d) In case of death

  • Accident report
  • Certificate of inheritance
  • Up-to-date certificate of identity registration copy
  • Wage document of the victim for the last 3 months
  • Bank account details of the beneficiary

4. Home and Workplace Damage

a) Internal Flood and Inundation

  • Damage declaration letter of the insured (indicating the way of occurrence of the damage and amount of damage)

  • Title deed photocopy or lease contract

b) Burglary Damages

  • Damage declaration letter of the insured (indicating the way of occurrence of the damage and amount of damage)
  • Police station application report (statement)
  • Letter of loss (if the amount of damage is over 50.000 TRY)
  • Witness statement (Scene investigation report)
  • IBAN number of the insured
  • Title deed photocopy or lease contract

c) Fire Damages

  • Certified copy of the fire brigade report (if the fire truck has attended) and/or certified copies of the police station reports (if the police has attended)
  • Damage declaration letter of the insured (indicating the way of occurrence of the damage and amount of damage)
  • IBAN number of the insured
  • Title deed photocopy or lease contract

d) Glass Breakage Damages

  • Damage declaration letter of the insured (indicating the way of occurrence of the damage and amount of damage)
  • Glass invoice (if a surveyor has not been appointed by our Company for determination of the damage) if a surveyor has not been appointed by our Company for determination of the damage)
  • Damage photos (if a surveyor has not been appointed by our Company for determination of the damage)
  • IBAN number of the insured
  • Title deed photocopy or lease contract

e) Storm Damages

  • Damage declaration letter of the insured (indicating the way of occurrence of the damage and amount of damage)
  • Meteorology report
  • IBAN number of the insured

5. Travel Health Insurance Damage

  • Damage declaration letter of the insured
  • Passport photocopy of the insured (together with the page indicating the dates of entries and exits)

  • Doctor or discharge report
  • Original invoices for treatment expenses
  • If a drug has been prescribed, original prescription
  • If a drug has been prescribed, original voucher of drugstore
For the damages in excess of 20.000 TRY, the following information and documents are additionally requested in the payment process:
